yeah without the full height side blade its just another supercar, the sideblade was so unique when the R8 first came out

Yes it was fun to see a good color combo and disappointing to see the terrible ones. But it made the car stand out from the rest of the supercars.

Man the facelift was such a huge misstep.

They sharpened up the lines which just generified it, and then moved the endpoint of the d-pillar way back, which makes it look stretched and awkward.
